The Why
I have always been creative and love to work with my hands, viewing each new project as a challenge. I love seeing others happy, especially if it is from something I have created for them. It is important to me to use the gifts/talents that God has given me to help others bring value and excitement to their celebrations. Community relationships are very important to me. I love partnering with small businesses, schools, and community organizations to help build up our community.
How it Started
My love of baking started in grade school which lead me to
attend the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts (Austin, TX)
where I received my certificate in Pastry and Baking. While in
culinary school I worked for an amazing cake shop where I learned many new techniques. After college I worked for a grocery store as the bakery manager for 4 years. During this time I started making cakes out of my home which is where everything really took off.
What can I do for you?
I have been caking for 10+ years and I still love what I do. I am a one woman show, balancing running a business with being a wife and stay at home mom. I completely understand and relate to the strong women who want everything for their family. Let me take some of the stress out of planning your life events by creating an amazing centerpiece for your celebration. You know, the thing that everyone wants to see as soon as they come in. The thing that everyone wants to take a picture of and will be talking about long after the party ends.
If you are looking for a cheap last minute cake, mass produced, with frosting that comes in a bucket, feel free to purchase from any of the many grocery stores in the area.
